Violence at Home and Abroad: Uvalde Five Months on, and the Threat of Nuclear War in Ukraine

On JustLove, we are inviting Prof. Ramona Lampley, J.D., to discuss with us her research on gun violence and policy across the United States, and how the Uvalde community has been changed over the course of the past five months since the shooting at the community’s elementary school. A seemingly more abstract threat, echoing worries of the last century, is the rhetoric of nuclear war in Eastern Europe. Dr. Matthew Bunn, Ph.d., joins us to discuss our concerns with expertise in foreign policy and international conflict.

Prof. Ramona Lampley, J.D., is the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development and Professor of Law at Saint Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Mathew Bunn, Ph.d, is the James Schlesinger Professor of the Practice of Energy, National Security, and Foreign Policy at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
