Pope Francis Visits South Sudan

To begin today’s program, we have a conversation with the Executive VP and CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, Gideon Taylor. Mr. Taylor joins us to discuss the work of his organization and the recent commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27th. We then talk about Pope Francis’ visit to South Sudan with Brain Adeba, Deputy Director of Policy at The Sentry, an investigative and policy organization in Washington D.C. Adeba discusses the significance of the first papal visit in over forty years to the world’s youngest country.
