World Mental Health Day and New Arrivals to New York City

This week on Just Love, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan is joined by Paul Jarzembowski, Associate Director for the Laity with United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Katherine Sheffield, Domestic Policy Consultant for the Office of Domestic Social Development with United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to discuss the new “National Catholic Mental Health Campaign” launched by the organization earlier this month on World Mental Health Day (October 10th). They are also joined by Dave Giffen, Executive Director for the Coalition for the Homeless who talks about the Work of New York City’s best know Advocacy and Direct Service Organization for the Homeless that Established the Legal Right to Shelter in New York City in 1981, and how the Influx of New Arrivals to the City is Impacting the Homeless Crisis in New York City.
