Jose Calderon, President of the Hispanic Federation – the nation’s premier Latino non-profit membership organization, talks to Msgr. Sullivan about the work of the Hispanic Federation and particularly – the organization’s recent relief and recovery efforts in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria, as well as advocacy efforts, increase reimbursement in New York State on behalf of Human Services, and nationally on behalf of the Dreamers.

Leah Libresco, Freelance Writer and Contributing Editor at America Media, talks to Msgr. Sullivan about this year’s 90th Annual Academy Awards and particularly how several of the films nominated for this year’s Oscars portray differing models of heroism and virtue in the stories that they tell.
