Blanca shares her experiences after traveling down to Tucson, Arizona in late April to volunteer in assisting Catholic Charities Community Services of Southern Arizona in their Casa Alitas program. This program provides hospitality and help to migrants arriving at the United States southern border from the Northern Triangle countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras and seeking asylum from the violence in those places.

Debbie Panek is the Director of Family and Youth Programs at Mercy Center and also shares her experience of traveling down to Tucson to volunteer and assist at Casa Alitas just this past week.

To honor Memorial Day and all those who have fought for our freedom, we’ve invited Msgr. Thomas P. Sandi to talk about his experience during 24 years of service to the Church and our country as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force. Msgr. Sandi is now the Pastor of Holy Trinity Church.
