Dr. Kevin Ahern, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Manhattan College and a member of the Advisory Board for the Dorothy Day Guild. During this week that we commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Death of Dorothy Day back on November 29, 1980, Kevin Ahern shares with us a bit about the cause for the canonization of Dorothy Day and why her particular witness in needed in the Church and the world today.
