The Catholic Relief Services National Gathering and the Place of LGBTQ+ within the Church

On today’s episode of JustLove, we open the conversation with Desire Findlay, a trainer and facilitator at Catholic Relief Services. She talks with us about how this week, she and other chapter members head to Washington DC and take part in the Catholic Relief Services National Gathering at Catholic University. Afterward, marking the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1969, we are joined by Stan J.R. Zerkowski, the Executive Director of Fortunate Families. Fortunate Families is a Lexington, Kentucky based Catholic Ministry dedicated to facilitating respectful conversations within the church about the dignity of LGBTQ+ individuals and how we can go about expanding the tent to include them in the life of the Church.
