Discussing 303 Creative v. Elenis, the Case from the Colorado Website Designer

On today’s edition of JustLove, we have a conversation with Professor Charles J. Russo, M.Div., J.D., Ed.D., a Professor of Law at the University of Dayton Law School about the holding of the recent Supreme Court Case – 303 Creative v. Elenis – which held that the First Amendment prohibits the state of Colorado from compelling a website designer to create expressive designs with messages with which the designer disagrees – such as same-sex marriage – and the tensions between the fundamental rights of free speech and the interests of same-sex couples receiving services free from discrimination. We are also joined by the Catholic Charities New York Director of Public & Community Engagement, Luz Tavarez, who sits with us to interview Monsignor Kevin Sullivan about his recent trip to Israel.
