Checking in with The CEO of Catholic Charities Hawai’i About the Wildfire Response

On today’s episode of JustLove, we are joined by Robert Van Tassell, who is the CEO of Catholic Charities Hawai’i about their response to the devastating wildfires that affected the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui. Our hearts go out to the people of Hawai’i and to the first responders and our Catholic Charities community’s work to alleviate the suffering. We are also joined by Leticia Fabene who is a Pierre Toussaint Scholar who was chosen to represent the program in the 2023 World Youth Day held in Lisbon, Portugal during the first week of August. She shares her reflections on her participation in such an important program for today’s youth.
