This week on JustLove, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan is joined by Chris West the Senior Trainer for Chapter Building at Catholic Relief Services about “CRS Rice Bowl” – Catholic Relief Services’ Annual Lenten Program for families and Faith Communities who want to put their Faith into Action during Lent through Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving to help change the lives of those who live in poverty across the world. In addition, he is also joined by Dr. Meisha Porter, Ed.D. President and Chief Executive Officer of The Bronx Community Foundation about the work of the Foundation that she leads, her experiences as an educational leader, and how the Supreme Court’s decision last term on overturning Affirmative Action has impacted not only higher education, but also the work of nonprofits and foundations like the Bronx Community Foundation.
