Lifting Others This Easter: Stories of Service and Solidarity

On this special Easter Weekend edition of JustLove, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan welcomes Michael La Civita, Director of Communications and Marketing for the Catholic Near East Welfare Association, to discuss the organization’s vital humanitarian work in areas marked by conflict and poverty — from Northeast Africa and Eastern Europe to the Holy Land. As the season calls for hope and renewal, the program also shines a light on Volunteer Appreciation Week by featuring three inspiring New Yorkers: Jed Meyer, Robert “Bob” Hayn, Esq., and Awilda Del Valle. Each shares their story of service through Catholic Charities’ affiliated programs, from feeding neighbors to supporting migrants and seniors, embodying the Easter message that indeed, we rise by lifting others.
