The United States’ New Embassy in Jerusalem and Catholic Charities Hawaii

On this week’s JustLove episode, Msgr. Kevin Sullivan talks about the US moving the embassy to Jerusalem and also the volcanic eruption in Hawaii.

Lena Alhusseini, Executive Director of Lifeworks of Sonoma County  in California and whose career has been focused on child welfare and international aid and development both here in the United States and in the Middle East, talks to Monsignor Sullivan about her reaction to the Trump Administration’s moving of the United States Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem earlier this month, and the protests and violence that ensued after that move was made.

Terry Walsh, President and CEO of Catholic Charities Hawaii, shares with Msgr. Sullivan what Catholic Charities Hawaii is doing to assist local people in recovering from recent natural disasters in that island state – including the recent volcanic activity around the Kilauea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the terrible flooding that took place on the island of Kauai back in March.
