Kelly Kaminski, LMSW is the Director of Disaster Services, of Catholic Charities of Charleston, South Carolina. Kelly, who also serves as the Regional Coordinator for Catholic Charities of South Carolina in the Pee Dee Region in the Northeastern corner of the State, updates Msgr. Sullivan and our listeners about the impact that Hurricane Florence and the flooding that its rain has caused has had on her state over the past 10 days, and how Catholic Charities of Charleston, Inc. is helping those who have been impacted by the storm.
Stephanie Ali is a Counselor and Vocational Coordinator for CREATE, Inc., an Affiliated Agency of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York located up in Harlem, New York. CREATE, Inc. provides a host of substance abuse and mental health treatment services, as well as providing young adult transitional housing and supportive services. Stephanie Ali discusses with Msgr. Sullivan her work at CREATE, Inc. in assisting residents at their Young Adults Residence Program to continue with their studies and to find jobs and housing. She shares with listeners some of their successes and stories of hope.
