Women in Sports and an RCIA Candidate’s Lenten Journey

On this week’s episode of Just Love, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan talks about women in sport and an RCIA candidate’s Lenten journey.

Pamela M. Wheeler, Esq. is a lecturer in the Masters of Science Program in Sports Management at Columbia University and the Founding Director of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA). To highlight Women’s History Month, Pam shares a bit about her role in the formation of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association and its work in assisting women players in gaining rights and benefits, the obstacles women in sports face generally, and what can be done to help address those obstacles.

Vito Rinaldi III is an Area Sales Manager at OLS Retail Services and an RCIA Candidate at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in the Kensington neighborhood in the Brooklyn Diocese. As we end the Second Week of Lent, Vito shares some of his experiences as an RCIA Candidate as he journey’s through Lent preparing to be fully received into the Church at this year’s Easter Vigil.
