Discussion on the State of Christianly in Iraq and the Faith-based Musical “A Week Away”

On this week’s episode of Just Love, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan talks about the state of Christianity in Iraq, three weeks after Our Holy Father Pope Francis visited with the Christian Communities there; and a conversation with the writer and producer of the new family-friendly, faith-based musical “A Week Away,” which is premiering on Netflix this Friday, March 26th.

Michael La Civita is the Director of Communications for the Catholic Near East Welfare Association, an initiative of the Holy See that assists Eastern Churches as they address issues associated with conflict, injustice, poverty, and formation in the Middle East and other areas of the globe. During this weekend when Christians around the world will begin the observation of Holy Week with Palm Sunday, Michael La Civita shares with us a bit about the work of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association and the situation of Christians in the Middle East today, particularly in Iraq, which Pope Francis visited earlier this month.
