Commemorating the Holy Month of Ramadan with our Muslim Brothers and Sisters and a talk with the President and CEO of UNICEF USA

On today’s recording of JustLove, we are sharing in the commemoration of the Holy Month of Ramadan with our Muslim brothers and sisters by having a conversation with Dr. Hussein Rashid. We will follow that up with a conversation with the President and CEO of UNICEF USA to discuss the issues facing children fleeing the war in Ukraine and others who face catastrophes across the world.

Dr. Hussein Rashid is a freelance academic who focuses on the intersection of Muslims and U.S. Popular Culture. He will talk with us about the Muslim experience of Ramadan over the past two years of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Michael J. Nyenhuis is President and CEO of UNICEF USA which is dedicated to supporting the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). We talk with Mr. Nyenhuis about the work in UNICEF regarding the situation of children fleeing the war in Ukraine and other catastrophes.
