Observing the 33rd Anniversary of the Passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Today on JustLove, we begin with a conversation with Brooke Ruffin, the Director of Engagement of “Street Grace.” They are a Georgia-based, faith-driven organization dedicated to eradicating the commercial sexual exploitation of children through evidence-based demand reduction strategies. We are then joined by Professor Lennard Davis, Ph.D. of the University of Illinois at Chicago. He joins us to discuss the 33rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 26th. He has recently written the book, Enabling Acts: The Hidden Story of How the Americans with Disabilities Act Gave the Largest U.S. Minority its Rights.

Brooke Ruffin is the Director of Engagement of the “Street Grace” organization.

Professor Lennard Davis, Ph.D., is the Distinguished Professor in the Department of Disability and Human Development of the University of Illinois at Chicago.
