The Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Anti-Bullying in High Schools

On this week’s episode of Just Love, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan talks about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, his legacy and what he would think about the March for Life movement. He also talks about anti-bullying during No Name Calling Week.

Dr. Ansel Augustine is the Development Director for the Sisters of the Holy Family down in New Orleans, Louisiana. On this Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Dr. Augustine, former Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, talks about some connections and similar themes between the life and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Pro-life Movement, which holding its 46th Annual March for Life this Friday, January 18th in Washington D.C.

Juan I. Rosa is the Community School Director for Catholic Charities Community Services Alianza Division at the High School for Media and Communications in Northern Manhattan. During this coming week when many schools across the country will be participating in “No Name Calling Week”, Juan shares some of the strategies they use at his high school for bullying prevention during their own “Respect for All Week”.
