The Student Climate Strike and Discussing Religious Inspiration for Fashion
On this week’s episode of Just Love, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan looks at the Global Student Climate Strike and he also discusses the inspiration behind the creation of fashion.
Jessica Caron is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a Major in both Environmental and Hispanic Studies. She’s been serving as Program Manager for the Glen Rock Green Team, a green business recognition program of the Borough of Glen Rock that encourages socially beneficial behavior by local businesses. Jessica talks to us about the Climate Strike, what its objectives are, and what the hopes that she and other participants have for a future of climate justice.
Caterine Sanchez is the Owner and Designer for her eponymous label: Caterine Sanchez. Caterine talks to us a bit about her own show at New York Fashion Week entitled – “Tales of the Resurrection of the Silver Towers” that was held at the Foley Gallery on Saturday, September 7th. The show was influenced by Caterine’s relationship with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, as well as where she finds inspiration for the fashions that she creates.
