Anxiety Over Presidential Election Ballot Counting and the Consequences of Results on Catholic Charities Agencies

On this week’s episode of JustLove, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan talks about dealing with anxiety surrounding this week’s Presidential Elections and on-going efforts to count the ballots; and a look at the election and the potential consequences of the results of the election for Catholic Charities agencies across the country.

Dr. C. Vaile Wright, Ph.D. is the Director of Health Care Innovation of the American Psychological Association (APA). During this week when the very contentious 2020 Presidential Election was held on Tuesday, November 3rd, and the results of which are still not definitively known are causing tremendous anxiety for many across the country, Dr. Wright shares with us what some of what the consequences of that anxiety are for our physical and emotional health, and additionally offers strategies for how we might manage this stress in healthy ways during this difficult time.
